Bowers & Wilkins CCM682 8″ in ceiling speakers (Pair)
The B&W CCM682 speakers lie at the top end of Bowers & Wilkins range of in ceiling speakers. This pair of 8″ drive unit speaker will provide a big solid sound that will fill medium to large rooms. Use on their own for stereo music, or as part of a discrete home cinema system.
We’ve installed these in a wide range of different homes and these speakers work well in most spaces. If your room is very small we’d recommend looking at the 6″ series of in ceiling speakers or alternatively even at the stereo dual tweeter single in ceiling speakers. However, if you have a medium to large room these could be the right speakers for you.
At the top of the range, these speakers also give you the best sound quality possible so you won’t be missing out on good quality sound by going for an in ceiling speaker, particular with B&W’s reputation as a quality speaker manufacturer. The speaker features a 200mm (8in) Kevlar cone bass/midrange driver with a rigid die-cast chassis, and a Nautilus swirl-loaded aluminium dome tweeter.
The speaker comes with a round grille as standard, but you can add the optional 68 grille to your speaker to transform it into a square speaker.
